HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – KTVH reports that a juvenile girl was killed and a woman was injured in a shooting in Helena on Sunday.
Helena Police Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Orange Street at about 5 PM after receiving a report from a man that said he shot two people that he said were attempting to assault him.
The suspect, Tony Louis Valdez, 65, of Helena, was arrested and is in custody.
The juvenile girl was transported to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries, while the woman was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition.
