Outdoor Watering Ban Lifted in Havre

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The outdoor water ban enacted by the City of Havre a few weeks ago has been lifted. Public Works Director Dave Peterson says they have refilled the 3.5 million gallon water tank enough to allow people to start irrigating outside.

A broken manway was repaired last week caused the issues and the City had to wait until the ice inside the water tank had melted enough for them to work safely. They started refilling the tank on Monday.
