CHINOOK, Mont. (NMB) – The P.A.W.S. (Pets Are Worth Saving) Animal Shelter in Chinook will be holding a fundraising dinner this Saturday.
The dinner will take place at 5 PM at the Chinook Eagles Club and is cheekily titled ‘Spay-ghetti & No- Balls,’ as proceeds will support spay/neuter and shelter programs.
P.A.W.S. Manager Alissa Hewitt says they have had a high expense year in 2022 with many intakes and not a lot of donations, so this dinner is crucial for them to continue providing important services.
“It’s a big spaghetti feed. Dessert, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction. We’re gonna be there and hopefully get to meet some of our followers and tell you about what we do at the shelter, tell you about our adoptables, so it’s going to be a really great time and we’re really hoping to raise some funds for spay/neuter and other shelter programs.”
No reservation is required and the cost of dinner is a free will donation.
