FLATHEAD COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – A 33-year-old woman from Butte was fatally struck by a vehicle on US 2 in Flathead County on Sunday evening.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred at 9:12 PM at mile marker 145 near Martin City, when an eastbound Toyota Camry being driven by a 33-year-old man from Coram struck a pedestrian that was walking in the roadway.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene. The driver was not injured, and it is not clear if they will be facing any charges.
The road was reportedly clear at the time.
