Phillips County Fair Returns Next Week

DODSON, Mont. (NMB) – Montana’s longest continuous running fair returns next Thursday in Dodson as the 106th Phillips County Fair is set to get underway.

Fair Chairwoman Sue Olsen says the celebration will be jam packed with events, including the Indian Relay Races on Sunday starting at 11 AM.

“It’s going to be exciting. We had quite a large crowd and we’re glad to have them back. They’re always fun to watch.”

The relay races were canceled last year by Fort Belknap due to COVID-19 concerns.

Other grandstand events include an NRA Rodeo on Thursday night, a live concert headlined by Reckless Kelly on Friday night, and a Demolition Derby and AMX Races on Saturday night.

Free transportation between Malta and Dodson will be provided by Phillips Transit. To schedule a ride, call 654-5301.
