HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Early Tuesday morning, Havre’s Fire Department received a call about a vehicle fire on Lincoln Avenue in Havre.
Havre Fire Chief Mel Paulson says the call came in at about 12:30 AM and they were able to put the fire out quickly. The fire caused extensive damage to the engine compartment of the parked pickup truck. The pickup is totaled and the Fire Department is still investigating the cause of the fire.
Paulson says there are several parts of an engine that could catch fire.
