Police Arrest Suspect in Alleged Bozeman Stabbing

BOZEMAN, Mont. (NMB) – The Bozeman Police Department says a man has been arrested after a man was allegedly fatally stabbed early Thursday morning.

Francisco Padilla-Canales, 41, was arrested on Thursday and faces charges including deliberate homicide and aggravated kidnapping. He is being held without bond.

The incident occurred at about 12:50 AM on the 4200 block of Brendon Street. Police arrived to the scene and located an individual with significant injuries. The man, who was an 18-year-old Hispanic male, was pronounced deceased on scene.

Through an investigation, the Bozeman Police say the victim was stabbed repeatedly at his residence after being confronted by the suspect.

This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is not any concern for the safety of the general public.
