Preparations for Moving of H. Earl Clack Museum Ongoing

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The H. Earl Clack museum is preparing for their big move away from their location inside Havre’s Holiday Village Mall and into the former Griggs Printing building, located by the intersection of US 2 and 5th Avenue.

Museum Manager Emily Mayer says she is excited about the move, but there is not a firm timeline for the completion of the renovations being done at the new location.

“We are not at the point to move anything out of the museum right now. The building itself needs to be completed. There are a few things in there that absolutely need to be set and ready for use to go, to move in, such as bathrooms and lighting.”

Mayer believes the floor the museum artifacts will occupy will have more square footage but hopes to expand to the other floors.

“We are not going to occupy the entire building at this point. We are slowly and gradually going to work on expanding into other parts of the building.”

Mayer is asking the public for patience during this process. New Media broadcasters will bring you periodic updates on the progress of the H. Earl Clack Museum’s move.
