HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Animal Shelter is asking for the publics help regarding an investigation into an alleged dog poisoning incident last month.
The Shelter says on May 23rd, the Havre Police Department responded to a complaint of three dead dogs in a yard in the 1000 block of 8th Avenue.
Through the investigation, it has been confirmed that poisoning with the cause of death.
At approximately 2 AM on May 23rd, two individuals were reported walking in the alley near the residence at about the same time the dogs began showing symptoms of poisoning.
No other details regarding this incident have been released and the investigation is ongoing.
