FORT PECK, Mont. (NMB) – The archery-only paddlefish season in the Fort Peck Dredge Cuts below Fort Peck Dam, and FWP officials want to remind the public that anglers must report their harvested paddlefish within 48 hours.
Archery anglers also need to purchase a 2022 blue paddlefish harvest tag in order to target the species in the Dredge Cuts.
Anglers can self-report harvested paddlefish and submit a jaw sample at three self-creeling locations near the Dredge Cuts: Winter Harbor, Nelson Dredge, and Roundhouse Point Boat ramps.
Anglers can also report online at myfwp.mt.gov or by calling 1-877-FWP-WILD.
Anglers reporting harvested paddlefish that provide all necessary information will receive a 2022 Montana paddlefish hat.
