Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign Kicked Off

(NMB) The Havre Salvation Army kicked off their 2025 Red Kettle campaign on Thursday. This is the start of Salvation Army’s major fundraiser that happens every November and December. Trina Crawford, Havre Salvation Army Director says the funds raised in Havre, stay in Havre and the hi line, and help with emergency services programs.

“The money that is raised through the Red Kettle Campaign in Havre, stays in Havre and helps Havre people and the Hi Line people. our goal this year is forty-five thousand dollars. If we can get forty-five thousand dollars, we will be able to help a lot of people. We helped over a thousand people last year in our emergency services and our programs and so, people need help.”

Last year’s funds helped people in need with emergency rental assistance, emergency transportation and other emergency services.

The red kettles this year will be at Stokes Market, North 40, WalMart and the Holiday Village Mall on the weekends. Businesses can also host a countertop kettle if they’d like to. The Campaign runs through December 24th.

The Havre Salvation Army is also offering the Angel Tree program to families that are in need during the Holidays.
