Senator Jon Tester Announces Funding for Montana Community Health Centers

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester announced Tuesday, March 24 that $800,000 in funding will go towards Community Health Centers (CHC) battling COVID-19 in Montana.

The funding was provided by the Health Resources and Services Administration and will be distributed to 14 CHCs.

On the Hi-Line, $54,113 will be distributed to Bullhook Community Health Center in Havre, $52,656 will be distributed to Glacier Community Health Center in Cut Bank and $55,780 will be distributed to Marias Health Care Services in Shelby.

The grants are to aid CHCs with obtaining medical supplies, with testing and screening, and with heightening their telehealth capacity.
