A shooting on Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation is still under investigation says Chippewa Cree Criminal Investigator Ed Long Knife. Long Knife said the victim, Joscayne Denny 39, was in stable condition as of Thursday. He was transferred from Northern Montana Hospital to Benefis Hospital in Great Falls due to his condition Sunday, upon the discovery of the gunshot wound.
Long Knife said the investigation started with a report of vehicle crash on Taylor Road Sunday at about 9:23pm. First responders found Denny at the scene, apparently ejected from the vehicle. Due to his condition Denny was transported by air ambulance to Great Falls.
Long Knife added that evidence has been discovered at the scene of the crash and he does have a suspect or suspects but is not releasing additional information while he and the FBI continue the investigation.
