The MSU-Northern Skylights Basketball Team and Head Coach Chris Mouat have announced the signing of McKenzie Long set to join the Skylights in the fall.
Long is a 2021 graduate of American Falls High School, where on the basketball court Long was a four-year varsity player for the Beavers and a two-year starter. As a junior she was named Second Team All-Conference, and as a senior she was a First Team All-Conference selection.
Coach Mouat on his newest signing:
“McKenzie is a great addition for us. She is a proven shooter from the 3-point line and can score at all three levels. She has had a great career at Walla Walla and helped them to the NWAC East Region title this season.”
At Walla Walla Community College, Long was a First Team All-Region selection. Long averaged 13.9 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while connected on 70 three-point field goals in the 2022-23 season.
