Havre, MT – 17-12. That was the final record for Mantana State University-Northern Skylights basketball after bowing out of the Frontier Conference tournament in the second round earlier this month.
Now the focus for head coach Chris Mouat shifts. “We’ve got the H.I.T (Hi-line invitational) tournament coming up so we’re going to put that together, but it’s an immediate dive into recruiting. We have some major major players that are graduating. So getting people on the board and getting people in on visits is really important and the H.I.T. tournament is also an opportunity to recruit Montana high school kids, so it’s recruiting right now.”
The Skylights have big shoes to fill with the losses of key contributors in both the post and perimeter from this season in Taya Trottier, Becky Melcher, Lauren Gunn, Canzas HisBadHorse, and Addie Keifer.
