Great Falls, MT – The MSU-Northern Skylights left Great Falls with a win over the University of Providence to start Frontier Conference play.
The Skylight tipped off at 5p.m. and started off slow shooting 3/11 from the field to trail 13-6 at the end of one. However, the Skylights flipped the script in the second quarter outscoring Providence 15-6.
the second half was tight battle with Northern pulling away a 62-53 nine-point victory. Northern shot 41.7% from the field and 6-17 for 35.3% from behind the three-point line.
The Skylights were led by Lauren Gunn with 15 points followed by HisBadHorse with 12 points and nine rebounds. Taya Trottier was the third skylight to score in double figures with 11.
