HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Saturday, several Havre residents will brave the elements and take the plunge for Special Olympics. The annual Polar Plunge will be held at the Town Square at 3:30 PM.
A press release says that this is a big fundraiser Special Olympics and the plungers must raise $125 for adults before they can jump.
This year, they will also have a Pee Wee Plunge, designed for kids ages 7 and younger. The kids can slide into the water or they can jump into the pool.
The event is part of the Community Tree Lighting in the Town Square this Saturday. The Santa Race will start at 4:30 PM and the tree lighting will be at 5 PM.
