HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The end of this calendar year also marks the five-year deadline for private applicator pesticide certification, and Montana State University-Extension Ag Agent Tom Allen says time is quickly running out for recertification.
Locally, the last in-person opportunities to earn as many as six pesticide credits will take place on December 8th at the 4-H Chuckwagon in Havre, with a morning and afternoon session. Allen says these sessions are limited to 25 participants, and only a few spots remain.
“It’s kind of a program for people, a last chance to get these six points in person, type of program. There are also a lot of online things that they can look at.”
Those online sessions are scheduled for December 8th and 10th, and have no attendance limit.
