Sugarbeeters Stumble in Opening Round

(NMB) The Saco-Whitewater Hinsdale Mavericks forced 27 turnovers and Chinook scored just 5 second half points and the Mavericks cruised to a 65-25 victory in the opening round of the State Class “C” Girls basketball tournament Wednesday evening in Billings. The Maverick’s Paige Wasson shot 10 of 11 from the floor and had 23 points in the game. Hallie Neibauer led Chinook with 15 points.
