The Havre swimming teams were back home for a meet with two schools, Great Falls High School and CMR. Havre finished second in both the boys’ and girls’ competitions.
Here are some notable individual results for the Blue Ponies:
For the backstroke competition, Micah Cammon won the boys’ 100 meter, finishing at 1:22:94. In the 100-meter breastroke, Blake Taylor beat out six swimmers and swam a 1:21:97.
In the girls’ 200 IM, Elizabeth Carroll and Olivia Erickson finished 2nd and 3rd with times of 3:10:06 and 3:12:86, respectively. Koby Preputin was the only participant of the boys’ 200 IM, swimming it in 2:59:01.
Britton Elliot finished 2nd in the girls’ 50-meter freestyle at 28.66, while Tolson Kempton swam a 50-meter freestyle in 30.07 seconds.
In third place for the girls’ 100-meter butterfly Liliana Smith at 1:34:65.
Elliot again placed second, this time in the girls’ 100-meter freestyle, with a time of 1:07:36, while Cammon swam a 1:05:20 100-meter freestyle for the boys.
In the longest event of the afternoon, Havre’s Lindsey Leinwand recorded a 6:59.46 400-meter freestyle and was the only swimmer to do so in the girls’ competition.
