Taste Our Place Program Launches in Havre Thursday

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Departments of Commerce and Agriculture have launched a new category of the popular Made in Montana program designed to support small businesses and ag producers. On Thursday, Taste Our Place program representatives will be coming to Havre for what they call a Launch Party.

Executive Director for the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce Jody Olson says that businesses that use local ingredients are eligible to sign up. She says that Crawford’s Distillery, Andy’s Supper Club and the Streatery Food Truck are all part of the Taste Our Place program and they hope to visit other businesses that qualify, but aren’t signed up yet.

On Thursday, they will visit High Horizons Gardens hydroponics, a local producer, at 1 PM. At 4, they will visit Crawford’s Distillery, then Andy’s Supper Club at 4:30.

On Friday, the program representatives will be making stops at businesses in other towns, like Loma and Fort Benton.
