HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Havre Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a 28-year-old Serbian man Tuesday on an Amtrak train headed for Chicago.
A press release says that the agents encountered the subject during a routine transportation check and discovered that he had entered the Untied States as a crewman with the Princess Cruise Line in San Francisco, but failed to return to the vessel. The subject was then arrested and is being held at the Hill County Detention Facility pending removal from the country.
Havre Sector Chief Sean L. McGoffin said, ” This arrest is an excellent example of the diligence displayed on a daily basis by Havre Sector Border Patrol agents.”
