CHINOOK, Mont. (NMB) – The Women’s Foundation of Montana is holding a listening session tour of Montana, focusing on rural and tribal communities. A press release says they want to learn about women’s thoughts and experiences first-hand and they want to know what communities and workplaces are doing to support women. Their goal is to advance economic independence for Montana women.
They will be meeting in the Chinook Senior Center at 10 AM on Tuesday, June 11th and estimate the event will run about 90 minutes. Food and drink will be provided, including coffee and sundaes, and everyone is welcome.
A report will be created with their findings and will be shared with the Governor, the Equal Pay Task Force, nonprofit partners, and the public.
