YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK (NMB) – Yellowstone National Park hosted nearly 922,000 recreation visits this August, making it the most-visited August on record.
It represents a 4.5 percent increase from August 2020 and a 12 percent increase from August 2019.
So far in 2021, the Park has hosted nearly 3.6 million recreation visits, up 40 percent from 2020 and 15 percent from 2019.
Those that are traveling to Yellowstone this autumn are asked to plan ahead, expect crowding and recreate responsibly to protect yourself and the Park.
