HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – On Monday, Governor Steve Bullock announced another round of appointments to statewide boards, councils and committees.
A press release says that several local people were appointed to the Montana Climate Solutions Council, including Jayne Marrow from Chinook. She is the Assistant Vice President of Research and Economic Development at Montana State University.
Also appointed to the climate council was Paul Tuss from Havre. He is the Executive Director of the Bear Paw Development Council. Eric Somerfeld from Power was also named to the climate council. He is a family farmer. Another appointee to the climate council is Gary Wiens from Great Falls. He is the CEO of the Montana Electric Cooperatives’ Association.
Kevin Myhre from Lewistown was appointed to the Commission on Community Service. Myhre is the Director of Business Development for Century Companies, Inc.
