Red Cross Hosting Blood Donations Across Hi-Line

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The American Red Cross encourages people to help meet the urgent need for blood by resolving to give blood this January, during National Blood Donor Month.

A press release says that the Red Cross encourages eligible donors to resolve to give blood regularly and the winter months are one of the most difficult times to maintain a sufficient blood supply for patients.

Blood drives along the Hi-Line in January will take place on Tuesday in Chinook from 12:30 to 6 PM at Wallner Hall. On Wednesday, you can donate blood at the Fort Belknap Hospital in Harlem from noon to 5 PM. Several donation opportunities will take place in Havre next week, with donations on Monday at the St. Jude Parish Center from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM, on Wednesday at Northern Montana Hospital from 10 AM to 3:30 PM, on Thursday at Triangle Communications from 9 AM to 3 PM, and on Thursday at the Bullhook Community Health Center from 10 AM to 3 PM.
