Hill County Reports 33 New COVID-19 Cases Friday; Health Officer Order Amended

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Hill County reported 33 new COVID-19 cases on Friday and had 23 people meet the recovery criteria.

The age range with the most new cases was people in their teens, with nine (7 males, 2 females), followed by six cases in people in their 30’s (1 male, 5 females).

25 of the cases were found through contact tracing, while eight have unknown exposures.

Hill County has now reported 1,111 total COVID-19 cases. 251 are active. Current hospitalizations are being reviewed, so an exact number of active hospitalizations are not available. 843 people have recovered and 26 have died.

Also on Friday, following a special Health Board meeting, Health Officer Kim Larson amended the Health Officer Order to allow locally organized youth activities to exceed the 25 person limit on social gatherings, provided they comply with the plans they provide to the Health Department.

Chouteau County

Chouteau County reported its first COVID-19 related death Friday. No other details were released.
