FORT BENTON, Mont. (NMB) – As part of the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument, the Interpretive Center in Fort Benton is hosting a special event this Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Monument Manager Zane Fulbright says the event will feature interpretive exhibits, special programming featuring guest speakers, and fun and interactive games and activities.
“We’re going to have a day filled with events with speakers and activities for adults and kids. Just to really recognize the resources and the objects that make the Monument and this landscape so special.”
Speakers will discuss subjects such as the Lewis and Clark Expedition, Native Plant Uses, Paleontology, the history of Native Americans at the Monument, and more.
Admission to the Center will be free on Saturday.
