It’s been a busy week for some Havre Ice Hockey Hawks alumni.
Recently, Havre native Austin Boyce was one of three players to represent the State of Montana at the USA Hockey Boys 17 National Player Development Camp.
During the 2022-23 season, the forward totaled 17 goals and 18 assists for the Havre High hockey team. Boyce will be playing in the Northern Plains District for the 2023-24 season, which is affiliated with the Montana Amateur Hockey Association.
On Friday, Trennis Riley, a goaltender who has played with the Ice Hawks in Havre, committed to playing for the Sault College Cougars, which is located in Sault Saint Marie in Canada and is part of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).
Riley last suited up for the Cold Lake Aeros, a junior hockey club in Cold Lake, also in Canada. In 17 games, he had an .874 save percentage and stopped all of his shots in one playoff game for the Aeros.
