Browning man Admits Manslaughter

(Great Falls) – On July 13th, a browning man admitted to a manslaughter charge for striking a woman with his vehicle and killing her in 2021 on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.

Jordan Joseph Morgan pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and now faces a maximum of 8 years in prison, a fine of $250,000 and three years of supervised release. In a plea agreement in the case, the parties agreed that a recommendation of 12 months and 1 day imprisonment is appropriate.

Sentencing was set for December 6th, Morgan was detained pending further proceedings.
