(Helena) – The Montana lottery Announced on July 18th that that they had made record sales of $149.5 million for the fiscal year of 2023.
This is a sales increase of 27.5% from 2022’s sales of $32.2 million. As a by product of this Mega Millions more than doubled their jackpot and the Powerball grew more than 50%. Montana’s own lottery game, Montana Cash. also grew more than 50% while other Montana-only products increased by 12%.
The state’s sports wagering product ,Sports Bet Montana, rose by 30.9% for total sales of $59.3 million.
