(Rocky Boy) – The Great Plains Veteran Service Center will be hosting it’s Great Plains 2nd Annual Veterans Stand Down event on July 27th from 10am to 2pm. Rebecca Lewis communications specialist of the Great Plains Veteran Service Center talks about what will be happening during the event.
“Obviously, it’s going to be an event with lots of information just want to also throw out there that we’re going to have a lot of fun too. We’ve got a grand prize door prizes a wonderful meal that’s going to be provided by the Northern Winds Casino as well as the desserts are going to be provided by Infinity Bakery. It’s some great great prizes that are coming in this year and the grand prize is going to be a set of tires from Tirerama and we’re going to have a beautiful veteran quilt and there’s going to be IGA gift card, Holiday gas card, and a veteran vintage cornhole board set. Also, this year we’re going to honor with a door prize for each military branch. Again, just a wonderful time and a great platform for these veterans to come in and get some resources.”
