(Helena) – Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks is advising Anglers that portions of the Sun and lower Madison rivers will close to all fishing daily from 2pm to midnight.
The hoot owl restrictions are issued for the Jefferson River, Beaverhead river from the confluence of Bighole river to Anderson, and Bitterroot River from Veterans Bridge at Hamilton to the confluence of the east and west forks of Bitterroot River.
These closures took place on July 19th and will remain in effect until conditions in the river get better.
