(Billings) – A partial closure that was in place at Manuel Lisa Fishing Access site on the Bighorn River has been lifted was lifted on July 20th.
The site was originally partially closed on June 26th due to high water flows on the river and flooded conditions. Walk-in access was still available at this site but motorized access was not.
Motorized access will be allowed at the site now that the partial closure has been lifted however the boat ramp will remain closed due to damage sustained in the flood conditions. FWP reports that it will repair the ramp as soon as possible.
