(Havre) – During the Hill County Board of Commissioners meeting on 8/31 the County Commissioners signed off on a 0.5% vehicle tax.
The money taken from the vehicle will be used by Hill County to to maintain current services and a portion of the proceeds will be distributed to the county to use for the purpose of local government funding. This tax will be imposed on motor vehicles having a capacity over of 1 ton or less.
The county held comments for this purposed tax on August 25th at 10am.
