Havre Cross-Country Results – Hardin Invite

The Havre High Cross-Country team was in Hardin on Friday for their first meet of the season. The Blue Pony Girls finished third overall with a score of 105 and were led by a freshman, Ashlyn Ford, who placed fifth overall with a 21:08:43 5K. Per her mother, Una, this was just the second 5K that Ashlyn has ever ran.

The Blue Pony Boys finished ninth out of 17 schools. The notable standout was senior Caleb Tomac, who ran a 17:15:56 5K, good for fourth overall at a 5:34 pace.

Cody won the Boys competition with a composite score of 68, while the hosts Hardin scored 24 and took home first place for the Girls.

The Blue Ponies will be back at it very soon, hosting the Havre Invitational next Saturday at 10am.
