(NMB) The Chinook Sugarbeeters fell in their opening round game of the Class B Girl’s State basketball tournament. with the Baker Spartans picking up the 46-30 decision.
The Lady Beeters seemed caught on their heels to start the session, finding themselves down 20-6 at the intermission. They battled back through an 18-9 third to trail 29-24, but Baker reversed the trend to take a 17-6 fourth quarter and hold on for the win.
