(Havre) Saturday saw the return of Havre Trails’ annual Summerfest, formerly known as Brewfest, in Pepin Park.
New Media Broadcasters was able to catch up with Lindsey Brandt-Bennett, the organizer of this event with Havre Trails, to find out how the day went from her perspective.
“It went awesome, perfect day weather wise, lots of great collaborators with the food trucks and the breweries and wild fig wine suppliers so we’re doing awesome. We had over 600 attendees, and that’s — I think — pretty good for the number of events that are going on in town this weekend. So we’re very happy with the turnout”
The proceeds for this event go into maintaining trails in the Havre area and into developing new ones, the most recent one of which opened this summer south of Saddle Butte off of Bullhook road, with the land donated by the Lieberg family.
