MSU-Northern men’s basketball bowed out to Carroll in the first round of the Frontier Conference basketball tournament, (72-60).
Another Lights basketball game ended in a double-digit loss after being down just single digits at the half, (39-34). The Saints outscored them, (33-26) in the final 20 minutes. Northern did not take a free throw in the ballgame.
In his final collegiate game, it was Jack Reardon leading the way with 22 points for Northern. He was joined in double figures by Cinque Maxwell and Raefe McEnroe, who each had 10 points in the first half.
The Lights had their season come to an end after an (8-21) overall mark. They’ll lose seniors Reardon, JJ Thomas, Xavier Bailey, Owen Smith, Anthony Mendez and Jake Randall.
