(Havre) – As previously reported by New Media Broadcasters, the Montana Department of Transportation will be reconstructing a portion of Montana Highway 232 that runs from North Havre to the Canadian Border. Recently, the Hill County Commissioners met with MDT for details on the project. Commission Chairman Jake Strisel visited with New Media Broadcasters about some things the commissioners learned.
“It sounds like they’re takin everything into consideration. There’s not going to be a lot of waste. They’re going to take up the millings and then put them back down on the road. It’s going to be quite the project, it’s going to take patience from local farmers, but I think it’s going to be a good thing for us up there.”
The Montana 232 project is tentatively scheduled to begin on April 15th.
