BELT, Mont. — The Town of Belt has issued a boil water advisory after a pump failure caused a loss of pressure in the city’s water system.
Officials say contaminants may have entered the supply, and residents are urged to boil all water before drinking or cooking.
The advisory is especially important for vulnerable groups, including infants and the elderly.
Crews are disinfecting and flushing the system, and updates will be provided.
For more information, contact Belt City Hall or the EPA Safe Drinking Water Hotline.
The advisory was issued June 19th through multiple channels.
