Helena, MT – The Frontier Conference volleyball preseason coach’s poll has Montana State University-Northern sitting in ninth place. The conference released the poll Monday.
Skylights Volleyball, led by coach Wagner, was slotted in ninth place out of 12 teams receiving 43 total voting points.
No coach is allowed to vote for their own program. Each first-place vote is worth 11 points and a second-place vote is worth 10 points, and so on down to one voting point with a 12th place vote.
Bellevue, one of the four newcomers formally of the Northstar Conference, is the Frontier conference preseason favorite receiving 120 points with Providence right behind them at 110 voting points for second place.
Skylights volleyball starts the season on Friday, August 15, In Lewiston Idaho against Lewis-Clark College at 2p.m. and Walla Walla University at 6p.m.
