Chouteau County Fair is Thursday through Sunday

(NMB) The 113th edition of the Chouteau County Fair runs Thursday through Sunday at the Fairgrounds in Fort Benton. This year’s fair has entertainment Thursday, Friday and Saturday including Thursday’s new kinds event, the sheep dash for cash beginning at 6pm. Chouteau County Fair Board Chairman JC Lindeman  explains.

“We’ve got sheep lined up and we’re going to put money on the sheep and then certain age groups, and the kids get to gather the money off of the sheep. It should be pretty entertaining I think.”

Friday features a Truck and Tractor pull at 7pm, and the demolition derby is Saturday evening at 6pm.

Lindeman says there will be plenty of fun for the kids each day too.

We’ve go the bouncy houses here with the big water park thing that they had the bumper boats on and then we’ve got carnival rides from kids Fun Zone out of Great Falls. Got probably ten carnival rides. I think there’s three or four different bouncy houses. Should be really fun.”

The 4H/FFA kids will have their creative trades live auction at 1pm on Sunday afternoon followed by the market livestock sale at 2pm.
