Havre, MT – The Frontier Conference released it’s Men’s and Women’s preseason Cross County coach’s poll on Tuesday. Montana State University-Northern was voted to near the Bottom of the Barrel.
As normal in all Frontier Conference coach’s polls, no coach is allowed to vote for their own team. First place votes are worth 10 points, second place votes receive nine points and so on down to one point for a last place vote.
On the Women’s side, Skylights Cross Country was voted to 10th place with 20 points, only ahead of Providence at 11.
For the men, Lights cross country was slotted in at ninth place just edging out Valley City and Providence in 10th and 11th. The Lights finished with 30 voting points and were just two points behind Montana Western (32).
Lights and Skylights Cross Country teams hit the road for Bozeman and their first meet at MSU Bobcat Twilight meet Friday, August 29.
