Chinook, MT – Chinook football won at home in their opener last week and follow it up with Centerville at home once again.
In a back and forth ball game last Friday, the Sugarbeeters edged out a victory over Choteau 28-26.
Centerville enters this Friday’s game 0-1 after falling to Fort Benton 68-0 last week.
Head Coach of the Sugarbeeters, Mike Jones, said there a few things his team was looking to improve upon in practice before Friday nights game.
“Our defensive coverages, Choteau has a heck of a receiver, we got caught in some situations so we’ve been repping a lot with the coverages especially because Centerville has a pretty mobile quarterback they’re gonna try and sling the ball around. And then hitting home on the defensive line, make sure we are continuing to apply pressure, make sure that when we get there we wrap up an don’t let them run around. The lest time we can have those DBs in coverage hopefully the better we are defensively.” Coach Jones said.
