HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre City Council met for its regular monthly meeting Monday night.
Among the items on the agenda was a petition submitted by Kerma Boyum to have her residence in Northern Heights Drive rezoned to allow her to operate an Airbnb. Several people who signed the petition told the council they felt Boyum misrepresented the petition, were not aware that it was a rezoning matter, and wished for their names to be removed from the petition. City Council Voted down the petition, and it will not move forward to the Zoning Board.
City Council also approved awarding the Contract for the Bullhook Storm Drain Project to Lakeside Excavation, who is already at work to finish the project. Council also Approved Great West Engineering’s contract for the project.
Council also Approved the 3rd Annual Bullhook Community Health Clinic’s Color Fun Run/Walk which will take place August 10th.
They also accepted a grant continuation to continue operation of the Tri-Agency Task Force.
