Agriculture Infrastructure Grant Program Accepting Concept Papers

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Agriculture wants to remind local producers that concept papers are being accepted for a grant program meant to fund value-added agriculture projects across the state.

The ARPA Agriculture Infrastructure Grant Program will assist with the development of innovative agricultural business improvements to keep pace with a transforming agricultural industry, create new jobs, and expand business opportunities.

Total funds available for grant awards are $7.5 million. $3.75 million will be reserved for projects requesting more than $150,000. No proposal may request more than $450,000, and there is a match requirement.

Concept papers are due by December 15th.
