Girls State Class ‘C’ action got going from Great Falls on Thursday afternoon as the No. 2 seed from the Northern ‘C’, Big Sandy, fell to the No. 1 seed out of the Western ‘C’ in Twin Bridges, (57-38). The Lady Pioneers were pressured for 13 1st half turnovers and let up a (39-20) lead to the Lady Falcons at the break.
Allie Dale led the way for Twin Bridges with 23 points, while Emma Konen had 10 points to be the other player in double-figures for the Lady Falcons. Eva Yeadon came on strong in the second half, putting up 12 of her 19 points in the final 16 minutes of play.
Big Sandy will be in first loser-out action Friday morning and they will face the No. 2 seed out of the Southern ‘C’ in Roberts. Coverage will begin around 9:30am on KPQX-92.5FM and HiLineToday.com.
