Havre Resident Claims Winning Lottery Prize

Helena) – The Montana Lottery announced on Monday afternoon that one higher tier prize was awarded in Havre recently. A higher tier prize is any prize of $600 or more.

Since April 17th the Montana lottery has awarded $79,305 in higher tier prizes. A Havre resident who bought their ticket at the Havre Eagles Club claimed their winning prize of $10,156 on April 19th.

The Montana Lottery was created by citizen’s referendum in 1986. Since then, it has paid over $774 million in prizes and returned approximately $302 million to the State of Montana and $83 Million in retailer commissions.
