(NMB) The Havre Blue Ponies girls and boys Cross Country Teams were is Sidney Friday for the Eastern “A” Classic Divisional meet. The Havre girls placed 3rd as a team behind Hardin and Fergus. Havre was led by Hailey Gingery who finished 8th overall. Jayla Meldrum and Paige Anderson finished 14th and 24th respectively. Other Havre girls runners were Clara Haslem, Gracie Shandorf, Hannah Kinsella and Ariel Ost.
The Havre Boys Finished in 5th place as a team. Caleb Tomac finished the race in 7th place. Zack May and Brody Henry placed within the top 25. Also running for Havre was Ezra Goldhahn, Mason Gregoire, Dylan Kunz and Dodson Corner.
The Blue Ponies will compete in the State Cross Country meet Saturday October 21st in Missoula. Class”A” girls are scheduled to run at 11:35am, The Class “A” boys hit the course at 12:40pm. The Meet will be held at The University of Montana Golf Course
